Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud

Last month the community art project painting was installed and unveiled at The Portland Montessori School. We celebrated with a tea party.  This paining was created by students, parents and staff during the year end party in June.
After the painting was complete I stretched it onto stretcher bars and added an inspirational quote by Maya Angelou: "Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud".  I chose this quote because someone painted a rainbow and another painted a happy face. It just made sense :-). It's such a great reminder that with every kind word or action we can brighten someone's day!
