Teotihuacan, a city underneath the city

Last summer I was so fortunate to travel to Mexico. Right after we landed in Mexico City we took a bus heading to Las Piramides; Teotihuacan, or City of the Gods as it is also known.
This legendary city is located 30 miles North of Mexico City and believed to be the birth place of the gods.
Before I actually saw the city of Teotihuacan I had researched it quite a bit and had started a painting about this city.
